God has ways. Knowing His ways results in knowing Him. In times of transition (generation to generation) it is critical that God’s ways are passed on NOT the style, techniques, and ways of that (passing) generation. The saying “God works in mysterious ways” is not true – God works in revealed ways BUT when those ways are not known and passed along, God’s ways may seem mysterious to the untaught. Because God knows the end from the beginning, His ways are both ancient and contemporary! These modern times are known by Him and He is way ahead of them. Hence, His ways are designed to work in every time period, with every people, every culture, and every generation.
