In this message, I will seek to establish the fact that God is Truth (i.e., truth isn't just something He subscribes to), it is who He is! Thus, truth is the very fabric of how, why, and what He does. I want to establish the connection and inter-relation of God's word/truth/light and how God often uses these terms synonymously. The stress and focus of this message will be that God (and His Word) are THE truth and that there is such a thing as absolute truth. "Subjective truth" is not truth at all. Without the foundation of absolute truth, God's ways become merely "a" way, not the Way - something to be tried rather than something to be trusted. I will also mention the tactic of the devil to undermine truth (Gen 3 - Eve and the serpent). Truth undermined produces instability. Truth adhered to and held makes free.
